[Notebook], [early 18th century].

Manuscript, in multiple hands, of a collection of personal accounts and other financial and business memoranda. The accounts include records of profits from Napleton's fellowship at All Souls College, Oxford University; payments to servants; inventories of household goods; and lists of items given to the maid, along with their monetary values. The accounts are preceded by copies of about a dozen letters addressed to the writer's brother. Dos-a-dos are more personal accounts as well as several aphorisms and lengthy letters to unnamed correspondents which primarily contain moral and religious advice.
